In addition to the BTC application or returning tutor re-commitment, there are 3 other preparation requirements for all tutors:

- Brown University students who do not participate in one of the EPDs will not be able to engage through the Brown Tutoring Corps. Please email browntutoringcorps@brown.edu with questions or concerns.

Tutor Matching
Before tutoring begins, each tutor will be matched with a tutoring site based on the skills, interests, and availability you indicated within the BTC Application. Generally, once matched with a site, the school/site will assign each tutor to a student or group of students. In some cases, tutors will be assigned a specific class, and the classroom teacher will direct you each day to the student(s) you will support.
Your site leader will communicate scheduling details with you, and share all relevant site-specific information.
