"As I was working with a new student, the lunch bell rang and I told the student that he didn't have to stay and work on his exam with me if he didn't want to, but he decided to stay and finish trying to learn what I was teaching him. It was an empowering moment for me to know that the effort that I was putting in to helping the student learn was not only received but reciprocated. By the end of the class, I felt that I truly have the opportunity to make a difference.. and I'm excited for the opportunity to continue working with this class in the future." - Shea Tutor
