Anne Kerkian holds a B.A. in English and Theater/Drama from Indiana University and an M.A.T. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from SIT Graduate Institute. She began her career in education at the Chicago Children’s Museum, where she worked on cultural programs as a Play and Learning Facilitator.

She has taught English internationally, from elementary school students in South Korea to airline and shipping employees in Argentina. Anne has supported immigrant and refugee students in the ESOL Bridge to College and Careers Program at Northern Essex Community College and previously taught at the A.C.E. Language Institute at the University of Rhode Island, providing linguistic and cultural support for international students pursuing alternative pathways to college. She is passionate about creating accessible pathways to education and fostering inclusive learning environments.
