Event Description
Attending a BTC Training is required for all new tutors. There are two dates to choose from, running 2 hours in length. Food will be provided, but please bring your own drink! The dates are:
- Wednesday, January 28th, 6pm-8pm, Annenberg Institute at Brown (164 Angell St., 2nd floor)
- Saturday, February 7th, 10am-12pm, Kassar House Fox Auditorium (before EPD)
The training will begin with building understanding around working with youth in the community following trauma and tragedy. Returning tutors are encouraged to attend this segment of the training. The session will also allow tutors to get to know each other, learn from each others' skills and experiences, and learn basic program policies and procedures as well as important context about our tutoring sites.
