Vartan Gregorian Elementary School (Providence Public School District) is located in Fox Point, which is walking distance from Brown. Volunteers sign up for one or more tutoring sessions per week and commit to regularly tutoring at those times. Tutoring occurs during the school day in a supervised, pull-out setting, for 30 minutes per slot, and tutors work with the same group of students over the course of the semester. The school provides all materials needed for the sessions, which cover either ELA or math, depending on the month.
